Question:

2000 Honda Accord V6 Auto Transmission?

Where exactly is the drain for the transmission? Also, do you know how much fluid I‘ll need for a much needed fluid replacement?

Answer:

it has a 'Allen Head bolt and it is installed into the side of the transmission at the bottom. it screws in parallel to the ground and should be facing the subframe. It should be the only Allen Head you'll find on the lower transmission side. There is a crush washer on the drain bolt that you need to replace when you take the drain plug out; otherwise, you're asking for a leak. the capacity is 2.5 quarts of Hondamatic Transmission fluid for a drain and refill or 6.1 quarts for a full fluid replacement. hope that helps
