On my 2005 Ram Hemi with single exhaust, I like the mellow quiet tone of the stock muffler. I figure the single exhaust system is restrictive, so I was thinking about dual exhaust. I don‘t wanna buy a high dollar system, and I wanna keep it quiter than aftermarket. Do you think a local muffler shop can free up some HP with their home-made dual system and some stock mufflers?
Yes as long as they leave the senors in place or U will be having check engine light on.
Not sure if dual exhaust will help with hp if u leave stock mufflers because they are still gonna restrict the air flow good luck!
