I tried looking it up on the internet and found alot of different answers such as you can‘t simply because it has 4 pipes and the bumper would have to be modified or sometHing about the battery being in the way ? I would think its awesome to put a m5 exhaust on a 2008 528i. Does any know if its possible?
wendys , mcdonalds, burger king, cant go wrong!!!
Go with 'Zeb' the above poster. a nice mixture of NYC insider stuff. Been to several of those places. If one is not your cup of tea try another. That is a good eclectic group of places. Most somewhat laid back. With regard to the Heartland Brewery, I was there with this very cute Korean tourist. It was not quite my type of place, but she loved it. Had a great time (because of her).
For one thing.the engine is COMPLETELY different, so nothing from the headers to the cats is going to fit.after the cats, its basically just plumbing, but even still, the undercarriage of the M5 is also different from the 528 and the routes the pipes take from the cats back is different so you'd have to have custom piping adapted to re-route the M5's exhaust pipes from the middle of the car back.at that point really the only thing you have left is the two mufflers in the rear, which won't fit because of the rear bumper and under panel shields all around the back of the car.so you'd have to have them adapted to fit and have a new bumper with dual muffler cut outs (i think there are some aftermarket ones available for that though). In the end, you wouldn't really have an M5 exhaust at all, you'd have this custom job that would probably cost more than a good aftermarket exhaust (even a Dinan one) and it would not only look funny on the back of the car, but it wouldn't sound anything like the M5's exhaust because, again.totally different engine.
