K well i just got a BFG 280 gtx OC... This is currently running with a 700w thermaltake power supply.. My question is how can i make it preform better.. i couldnt even run crysis on very high no aa and 1280 x 1024 resolution.. the game looked like crap. Is there anyway i can fix this?
Make sure to update the driver. Get a better CPU if it is below 5000+ since it will be a bottleneck to the card. Good luck!
GTX 280 should be able to run that close to max settings. you might have just gotten a junk card. it happens sometimes. if you can, ask the re-seller to give you a replacement card
You have current driver and bios upgrades? Are you using Vista Direct X 10? Can you under clock it to see if that is the problem. Do you have adequate cooling.
