I assume it is a fuse problem, but would it not cancel out all of the tops?A fuse for each side no?I'm not great with electrical components so any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to avoid a hefty Electrician bill if it is a minor problem. Thanks in advance.
These elements do go out indivdually and can be purchased at any appliance repair shop my guess would be an element or the plugin socket that it plugs into and either can be replaced easily. ALWAYS TURN OFF THE POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING THESE REPAIRS.
unplug bad coil, unplug good coil, swap. If good coil works buy a new coil.
Those coils do go bad. Plus it could also be a problem with the transformers burning out for each coil. Call a repairman.
