My son turned 3 last month and he still sleeps in my bed! We are trying to have another, but if we have another there will not be any room for my husband in the bed! Now aside from getting a bigger bed any suggestions??
Maybe if you let him choose his own bed that way he might me more enthusiastic to sleep in it by himself (:
I had the same problem with my 3yr old son, he's now 4. I put a twin mattress beside our bed and he slept there and liked it, then we slowly moved him into his room and now he thinks he's a Big Boy for sleeping in his own room. Good Luck!
Put him in his own bed! Make it an enticing place to be - favorite characters, stuffed animals, etc. Make sure you read to him each night in his big boy bed. Then stick to it! He's not gonna learn to sleep on his own until you make him to do it. Not to mention it's hard to make another kid with him in your bed...lol.
