i want a real cold air intake not a short ram intake
save your money, your car has a cold air intake on it from the factory, you will not get fifty horsepower from a sewer pipe with an air cleaner and it may lean out your motor which can cause an engine light to pop on, as the motor burns up. same deal with the chips, marketing gimmick at its worse, these companies make a lot of money, you will be able to hear your intake, but this does not make horsepower. you want good honest horsepower, drop an engine with a turbo in it and enjoy, otherwise keep your money in your pocket it will do more good there then some greedy executive good luck
Injen and KN makes the best cold air intakes in my opinion. Look into those on eBay, they aren't that expensive. Make sure it's compatible with your car's model and year and transmission type.
Community Colleges take everyone. Whoever told you it could hurt your chances was probably trying ot scare you into behaving better.
Have to build one for a 3000gt,they all do the same thing but keep in mind the intake sucks in the hot air being produced by the engine,which is why one must be built towards the bottom of the engine to reduce hot air but you risk sucking in more dirt or worsewater.
