Question:

A friend made me pay part of a bill to have a lock repaired in her home.?

I pet sit live in her house while she travels she pays me half ($25 a day) what the kennel charges her. Her dog was wetting on the floor sometimes so she told me to keep all the doors in the hall closed. I closed a bathroom door that I had never locked before by pulling it towards me from the outside. My fingers didn't touch the lock on the other side. Later I found it had locked; the key didn't open it nothing I tried worked. I called her she said to call a locksmith. Later she charged me 1/3 of his bill since she said the door had never locked on her before! I told her the guy said the lock had been installed upside down inside the handle he repaired it. I feel she was punishing me by making me pay part of the bill when it wasn't my fault in the first place. I wouldn't have closed the door if she hadn't told me to. She has millions of $ while I just manage to get by each month. Her lock is repaired I'm resentful. She's always been dominating I'm always shy.

Answer:

you can install any kind of pull station that you like and will not contact the fire dept, the only way that it can contact them is if you set it up to do so and that would mean connecting a phone line to it
Um. If you're needing to use a fire extinguisher, I hope you're not waiting for answers. Reminds me of my friend in Kansas (I live in Minnesota) who was telling me on the phone one night that he thought his building might be on fire. Um, Dude. I'm three states away. What do you think I can do for you at this point? Get off the phone and get out of the frickin' building!
