You DO NOT want Dell!! Unfortunately, Dell has the worst reputation when it comes to laptops, they make a good desktop, but a crappy laptop. Better brands for reliability and overall build quality in laptops are ASUS, Samsung, and Lenovo. It will depend on what kinds of applications you wish to run on your laptop, as to which processor will be best for you. If not planning on playing any games, or doing much with video, I would go with an Intel core i processor.
