can i buy an old lap top and get a newer laptop mother bored and hard drive and put it in the old one?
laptop mobo's are specific to the model, no luck there friend.
i think you can but it is very complicated it would be probably more expensive, but if you are it has to make the same make and model of your old laptop and then you have to rip out the parts in the computer and put in the new, but it is probably better just to buy a completle new laptop, but with some laptops you can take out the old hardrive and put in the new but no guarintines it will work. i would reckomend that you buy a new laptop, sony vaios are the best brand out there, what ever you do don't buy a new dell because it will probably break in some odd way. hope this helps morgan
