if a inductor is connected to a battery with a key and changing current is allowed to flow in inductor by making the key on and off right. Now my question ( is the polarity of induced emf is such that positive of induced emf must appear at positive side of battery and negative of induced emf must appear at negative side of battery)?if i am wrong then the reverse must be true but then how the induced emf opposes the current it must be in such a way as i stated plz explain.
