Question:

a sheet of aluminum foil.?

has dimensions of 25.0 by 17.5 and a mass of 2.24g.if the density of aluminum is 2.70g/cm3 calculate the thickness of the foil.i'm not sure how to do this,do i add the dimensions and then divide by the density? or take the density and divide by the mass? please help im trying every way and i'm just not sure what to do thanks for any help.

Answer:

well u get the volume of the sheet by dividing the mass/density , and u got already 2 dimensions so u get the 3rd one (thickness) by the equation volume 25.0 17.5 ? , (? : is the thickness) then u work it out
