My immediate answer is no, but I find that any writer that is interested enough to write a poem of this length and not sell himself cheaply by trying to rhyme every line deserves a better answer than that. I think it's obvious that you have an understanding of an emotion you may be feeling (and, after all, the purpose of poetry is to be cathartic and to express emotion in an abstract way). However, you need to develop this into something moresomething descriptive, exact, and cohesive. What I'm basically saying is that there is too much going on in this poemtoo much noiseand therefore the point is lost. There are images that seem to work together in each seperate stanza, but there is little obvious relevance between themthe fire and the pot, the girl playing outside, the soldiers, the rabbit laying in the snow, the blanket and the melody. You are obviously going for symbolism here, but when you have not developed any of the images clearly, you lose the ability to make the point direct and tangible. What you need to do is break it up, decide what you really want to say, then decide which of these images would best represent it. As long as you stylistically remain writing with this quick and powerful stance, you cannot flow so freely between subjects as you are doing. Keep it up. You can only get better with more experience. Ignore people that criticize you for being creative. Best of luck!
