additives ,have you tried these products?
All additives in oil is a waste of time and money, as long as you use a good quility, and the correct oil weight for the conditions and temperatures you live in,most states 10 -30 is great and gives excellent performance.
You use 2 quarts of stabilizer to 1 of oil? As thick as that stuff is, it's a wonder the motor will crank. I wouldn't go above a pint per 4 quarts of oil.
Talk to any automobile manufacturer. None of them recommend the use of oil additives. Not one. Some even recommend specifically against using oil additives - and these are the people who designed and built your engine. They probably know something about it. I see lots of old Altima's whose motors are as strong as they were when new that have a lot more miles than yours. And without doing anything more than regular oil changes. Heck, my cousins 97' Altima has over 240,000 miles on it with just regular oil changes. Any miracles you think you are experiencing are probably figments of your imagination. Oil additives can not increase horsepower or compression. That's just not possible. The companies who make these products need you to think they work so you keep buying them, but its all snake oil. All of the independent tests say otherwise. Put your car on a dyno and I'd be willing to bet it tests no better than my cousins.
