Question:

aerodynamic car help?

i am doing this f1 in schools program and i am designing my car on the peregrine falcon please give ideas on how i should use the body parts of the the peregrine falcon on my car.

Answer:

Use the body of the bird. The car doesn't need lift. Be aware that the car moves on the road, (a plate). A lot of it's wind resistance occurs at the boundary between the car and the road. There is shear between the moving car and the static air at the road surface. If you design the front to push air sideways and upwards you cut a major source of drag.
