what exactly is a air intake and what advantages does it have to the car? and also what are injection fuel kits?
I'm guessing that by air intake you mean a COLD air intake. Lots of factory cars are designed so that the goals of the air-intake system are 1) quiet and 2) easily accessible air filter. Sometimes that means taking in hot air from the engine bay. Hot air is less dense, ergo contains less O2 molecules per volume. Cold-air intakes pull air (usually though a higher-than-factory-capacity air filter) from lower down, the fresh air passing under the car. Cooler are is denser, containing more oxygen per volume, for better combustion. The downsides of a cold-air-intake are three: 1) It's an aftermarket mod so you have to pay for it. 2) The filter is more expensive and more difficult to access for cleaning or replacement. 3) There is a chance that if you drive into deep water (as during flood conditions), water could be drawn into the engine, possibly causing hydro-lock, which means the engine is toast.

The air intake is the black tube most likley coming from the firewall to the throttle body it brings fresh air from inside the firewall area into the engine. Injector fuel kits have differentlargerinjectors that provide more fuel/power into the engine although they usually do not include anything to map the new fuel curve that the larger injectors. without telling the computer that you have installed new injectors the engine sensors will make up for more fuel(from the larger injectors) with more air and more rmp's Because of the first question it is also recomended that you have a professional install/buy the the new injector kit and install it goodluck
