Question:

All the fire alarms went off with no sign of smoke or fire?

All the fire alarms in the house went off tonight (probably triggered by one of them), but there was no sign of fire or smoke. What could it be? :)

Answer:

Vertical initial speed v 25.7 sine38.7solve for v Maximum height h v^2/2g where g is gravitational constant, 9.81,solve for h Time to reach maximum height t v/g..solve for t Horizontal velocity (which is constant) V 25.7cosine38.7..solve for V Horizontal distance (how far hose from building) d V x t.solve for d
If you are driving slowly across them, you are not damaging anything. You likely are hitting stuff on the street that is doing more damage. Cross them at a slight angle so you are not beating both front wheels at the same time.
