Aluminum foil prevents silver from tarnishing?

I've heard you can prevent your silver from tarnishing by storing it somewhere fairly airtight with a piece of aluminum foilIs this true? And if it's true, does the foil get quot;used upquot; and necessitate being replaced after awhile? And if so, after how long?

You can bread them or batter dip them and fry them You can use blackened seasoning on them and fry them in a pan with either cooking spray or a little oilThere are many ways/recipes for baking themIf you find a recipe that calls for say: cod or some other white filet you can use tilapia insteadI have also put them on heavy duty foil (one filet per packet) with some dark sesame oil and soy sauce and a little garlic powder and a squeeze or three of lime juiceThen throw on some sliced red and or green peppers, water chestnuts, and snow peas and then wrapped it closed (like a packet.not too tightly closed) and threw them on the grillThey were great! And I made rice on the side.

I'm not sure ,but I know if you put foil in the bottom of a bowl, fill with warm water, and put some baking soda in it, it will clean the silver!
