Question:

Aluminum Outlet/Receptacle?

I need a black aluminum outlet or receptacle, I already have the stainless steel cover plates. I can't find the aluminum outlets anywhere...Help Me Please

Answer:

Aluminum outlets don't exist. Aluminum conducts electricity so it wouldn't work. Did you mean aluminum outlet box? You can buy those about anywhere that sells electrical supplies. Buy a grey one and paint it black.
Spray paint the receptacle with aluminum paint before installing
Standard wall receptacles are not made of aluminum. An aluminum receptacle would soon short out, when attached to the copper wiring in the building. The welding industry tried aluminum cable 30 years ago, and it failed miserably. I refused to carry it.
There is no such thing as a Aluminum cover for a outlet. The closest thing you will find is a brushed satin which is a brushed look stainless steel plate. oops sorry thought you meant the plate, but now that I see you want the outlet I can say that because aluminum is such a good conducter of electricity you wont find one. The only outlets that are made today are of phenolic plastic.
Try marine supplies. The ships I worked on had aluminium alloy power outlets and light switches. The bodies need to be earthed though.
