i have no idea how to prevent this but I dont want to leave him out because he is important part of our family and needs us should we just let him roam naked and say to hell with it?

When i saw your post, i knew it was carbon monoxide poisoning. Get emergency help NOW! (i have a friend who he and his family nearly died of Carbon Monoxide poisoning) get everyone out of the house as soon as possible.
I have seen oil furnaces puff a bit of smoke when they are shut off while running.
It makes them look strong and it will allow the person who finally beats them (although I think they'll split up before then) look strong, while the shield maintain a level of credibility. I like the shield, and I doubt they'll lose, but if they do, it won't matter. They've beat The Undertaker, and John Cena, they're untouchable.
