do anemones have to have special filters and or lights if so what are they.
Anemones are not very good with beginners. Depending on the species and size, anemones will need moderate filtration and light intensity that could range from little light to intense light.
Filtering, normal marine tank filtering, sump, powerheads etc. Light - depends on the type of anenome. Some rely on symbiotic algae living with them to provide some of their food, so they need intense lighting. Others are less fussy. They are an advanced species to keep and feed, so you need to do lots of research before you buy one. Ian
