Question:

Any high fiber diet suggestion?

Any high fiber diet suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Answer:

I found a list on the Internet and manage to incorporate fiber into every mealThe key is to have fresh produce, beans, nuts, seeds and whole grainHave those as the ingredients in a compound dish or the main part of the meal with the animal protein in smaller amounts than normally allowedFor example, have two ounces of chicken with stir fried vegetablesOmit white rice as it doesn't have fiberI don't find that this provides me with enough bulk, so I take fiber supplements as neededYou'll need to search as my computer is too slowSome choices are: raspberries, pear with skin, dried or fresh figs, raisins, barley, lentils, sunflower seeds, potato with skin, raw carrot, corn, et alWhen you get your list, take it with to the market the first few times and shop the outer aislesWhen you buy a steak, like a skirt steak, cut into two ounce pieces, wrap and freezeDefrost just one and have with the vegetables, like red and green sweet pepper, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, and a saladAvoid any white pastries and just about any foods that make no contribution to improved healthIt really makes a difference.
Make a bag out of aluminum foil and cook the chicken legs in it with a small amount of water or broth.
An easy recipe from my grand-mother: in a pan on the stovetop, start the chicken legs along with a minced onion and a little water; half-an-hour later, add 2 cups of hot water, chicken broth (your choice of cubes, pouches or liquid concentrate) and bring to a boil; then add macaroni noodles up to slightly below the water level; when the water is absorbed, dinner's readyThis is a very tasty dish because unlike normal cooking in water, the noodles cook in chicken juices and absorb themAnd of course, the chicken legs are not dried at all.
I have never had dry whole chicken legs since it is dark meat and that is the most moistI put them in a 9x13 pan a few tablespoons of water in the pan, sprinkle them with seasoned salt(the paprika in it helps to brown it in the last step of cooking),cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for at least 50 minutes since these are whole legs, then carefully(don't get burned by the steam) removed the foil and continue baking til they are done or temp them if you are not sure Good luck.
Keep a lid on them and turn the heat downYou will have to bake them a little longerToo high heat cooks it faster but you are also baking out its natural juice.
