My mom has that better homes and gardens cookbook (its old i think) and she always uses the easy baked beans recipe for Christmas but some how the page got ripped out and lost. If anyone has this cookbook could you please give me the recipe. It is on p.785 and she says its just called quot;easy baked beansquot;Thanks so much!
Easy Baked Beans Source: Better Homes Gardens 4 slices bacon 1/2 c chopped onion 2 (1-pound) cans pork and beans 2 T brown sugar 1 T Worcestershire sauce 1 t prepared mustard Preheat oven to 325° F. Cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon. Cook onion in drippings until tender; add with bacon to beans, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and prepared mustard; mix well. Bake uncovered in 1-1/2 quart casserole for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours. Makes 6 servings
