Ok, so I have this situation with my car alarm. Well the alarm is controlled by my keypad and when I turn the power locks on, the alarm is off, and when I turn the powerlocks off, the alarm is back on again. What happens if I want to be inside the car with all the powerlocks off so no one can get inside.like imagine this. If you were stranded somewhere and you are all alone and you want to be inside your car with the powerlocks off obviously, how do you prevent your alarm from going off when you are inside the car with the powerlocks off?
I have the same problem now did you ever end up fixing it?
try answer number one just be sure pistons go in straight do not force them
do you have an aftermarket alarm or factory car alarm? They both different, after market alarm has sensitivity sensor, if anything move or vibrate it will come on. Factory only work if you un trigger the door latch by hand when it lock, or someone break the window, then the alarm will come on. but if you inside. that that should be no problem. since factory don't have the sensitivity sensor on movement or vibration. You good to go.
