I took plastics and wood shop in highschool and it was a long time ago. Recently i had a project that involved using plastic but i dont know where i can get it. Anyone know where i can get sheets of colored plastic?
get it in a shop seeling craft work and accessories
reflectors of some sort, place em at diff angles and drill holes through them, attach em to a metal pole or something
personally ive never seen sheets of plastic sold before an i go to the craft store alot. theres acrylic an resins maybe you can make your own? i dunno if regular plastics if you can maybe melt them an form it into a sheet? i never tried it , but my first thought would be colored resin or acrylics an pouring it so it becomes a thing sheet
My 1st stop would be Michael's, the publicly-traded hobby and art supply retailer. You might check the websites of Office Depot, which sells school supplies. The store inventories are limited, but I would look online. Lastly, I would google plastic sheet various colors, and see what responses I get.
Are you looking for gels to change the color of light or are you looking for a colored acrylic plastic sheets? The gels can be found at art supply stores or theater supply stores. I have found some acrylic sheets at glass shops. Most acrylic sheets can replace glass in certain situations ... like framed photos or prints.
