Question:

Are iron horse bikes any good?

Looking at an iron horse mtb

Answer:

no they will not the tires he has are for 13 inch rims and you have 14 inch rims. 13 inch rims will not fit on a 14 inch rim car as the lug hole patterns are different
Dude they need to be the same, the P is the tyre usage (e.g top speed, weight loading), the first # is the width in mm (yours are wider than the ones being sold and you don't want narrower tyres), the 2nd# (70) is the height of the tyre as a % of the width (so 70% of 225, compared with 70% of 185), and the last number is the RADIUS, the most important one to look at, yours are for a 15 inch rim so his 14 inch rims wont fit, cheers
I don't think 13 rims will fit on your car if it has 14 rims on it. It's for sure 13 tires will not fit on 14 rims and visa versa
Asking if an Iron Horse is any good is like asking if a hot dog is any good. You need to specify the model of which you are interested. Iron Horse had what was arguably the best DH bike ever made (the Sunday), and they also had some pretty durn nice MTBs. They have nice bikes now as well, as long as you PURCHASE FROM A BIKE SHOP AND NOT SEARS OR ANOTHER MASS MERCHANT. Just like Schwinn and Mongoose, Iron Horse has discount versions and quality versions of bikes. Which model to choose to fit your needs is going to depend on a conversation with a bike shop salesperson who will ask you waht kind of riding you'll be doing among other things. Once you answer those questions you will get a MUCH better answer of which bike is good. It is ALWAYS a good idea to ignore brand names in favor of which bike is best for you, at a price you want to pay.
