Question:

Are motorcycles with less than 250cc allowed on NJ highways?

Are motorcycles with less than 250cc allowed on NJ highways? Can a 110cc motorcycle drive on an interstate highway? intrastate highway?

Answer:

Yes as long as you can travel the minimum speed.
yeah if they can handle the highway speeds, but idkit might be too light to go on there.i know 250cc cruisers arent recommend to go into highways
To operate on an interstate, federal law mandates that the motor produces 5 brake horsepower or more. Does your bike produce that much? To try to operate anything less than a 500 cc bike on an interstate in NJ is suicidal considering the morons that get car licenses in NJ. I live here and I know. And I ride a 1200 Harley and some days I wonder. My recommendation is to stay off 78, 80, 280, 287,195, 295 the Parkway and the Turnpike with that 110cc bike. Unless you have a death wish.
