well i say anything above abec five is pointless (unless its bones bearing, well because they are the best) but i would go with abec 7s. theylle will get worn out faster so i would just buy bones red because they last and are cheap.
The ABEC scale isn't very accurate for measuring how fast a board can go, hopefully we will one day get a scale that is accurate. You're Bone Swiss bearings probably do go faster, when you're riding your board, challenge him to a race, either you'll win or you got ripped off.
Never used the Tensor bearings, or Destructo ones either. For the same money, you can get Pig Swiss. I use them in all my setups and have had very good luck. Bones Swiss are a little less money and almost as good as the Pig. If you want to save even more money and have very good quality, go with Bones Reds. They are a very good bearing for the money.
