can i use rubbing acholhol?
No you will dry out the bearings that way. Take them out and squirt them down really god with WD-40 making sure all the dirt and gunk are out. Then get bearing grease (or oil) sold at skate shops or home depot and give them a good soaking over night.
You can go the fast way and put on some WD-40. That is the best way to go. To make sure its all clean, inside and out, you can also pop them off. Then soak them in gas for about 10 mins.
Use Speed Cream from Swiss (who make skateboard bearings) -- it's like 3 bucks for a little bottle.
sure but i used to use black magic tire wet on them, to keep em moving fast! Also a rag with soem wd-40 will keep me in good shape and acutlly keep em cleaner longer, though grim may stick to it they be nice and slick for while, dont dont use anything water based.
just get an hot wet towel and wash it off.
