Question:

Are the pulse signals produced by the Holzer water flow sensors analog or digital?

Are the pulse signals produced by the Holzer water flow sensors analog or digital?

Answer:

The value of the water flow is determined by the controller through the feedback signal of the water flow sensor. According to the different gas water heater models, select the best starting flow, can achieve ultra-low pressure (0.02MPa or less) start.
A water flow sensor uses Holzer effect of a Holzer element to measure magnetic quantities. A load resistor is connected to the positive pole of the Holzer element, and the DC voltage of the 5V is connected and the current direction is orthogonal to the magnetic field direction. When the water drives the magnetic rotor through the turbine switch housing, the rotating magnetic field of different magnetic poles is generated, and the magnetic induction line is cut to produce a high and low pulse level. Because the output pulse signal frequency of the turbine flowmeter is directly proportional to the speed of the magnetic rotor, the speed of the rotor is proportional to the water flow, and the gas water heater is started according to the water flow rate.
The pulse signal must be analog signal, so it is necessary to sample and convert the pulse signal to digital signal.
