I am making an art project out of old CDs and I want to apply some chemical to cause the plastic to melt for a cool effect.. I can't use heat because I live in an apartment and fumes would be a problem. Also.. caustic chemical fumes would be no good either.. any help would be great..
Private citizens may own any body armor they want to. Get yourself a level IV ceramic rifle protection armor if you want to/can afford it. But most ballistic vests are not stab proof, and vice versa. And body armor is thick, bulky and uncomfortable. The more protection it offers, the less comfortable it is. If you don't foresee a realistic chance of being shot, it just is not worth it
