Question:

Are window blinds tax deductible since it counts as insulation?

Last year (2010) I spent about $850 on faux wood blinds for the houseI believe after installation of these, it provided better insulation and energy efficiencySo my question is, are the costs of the blinds tax deductible? (I installed them myself).

Answer:

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by water heater VENTAny water heaters I've dealt with are vented up the chimneyPlease give more details or maybe someone else knows what you mean.
Only if they qualify as home insulation, don't think they do.
Get a repairman to fix itI do not know if it leaks gas or is it electrical.
