Answer:

I hauled specialized cargo all over the US and Canada for 4.5 yrsI transported glass loads as large as 11' high x 17' long weighing as much as 52,000 lbsI hauled class 8 trucks, earth movers, front end loaders big enough to pick up a fighter jet, and so many other odd things I can't countLadders, lumber, brick, shingles, steel rods, steel polls, spools of steel wire and sheetingBobcats, street sweepers, helo hulks, boats, industrial machinery, and big counter weights used on massive construction cranes Without training and experience you will end up in trouble real fastIn addition you need quality equipment and a good insurance policy I think I was watching an early season of Ice Road Truckers and one of the guys didn't even know how to move his trailer tandems to shift his weightNot good You will also need a CDL for the appropriate class vehicle you will be driving and a DOT medical certificateNot knowing what you will be hauling you better get a HAZMAT endorsement as wellYou should also learn a little something about the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and their 1,000,000 rules for commercial vehicle operators (and in your case: Owner)It's a lot of stuff to know.
