Because banks create the money we have nowadays through Debt and destroy it through people paying back to the bank then surely when they are promoting production through the extra money that is being created making people better off? So when the natural resources run out, or the people realise what is going on or if the government stops being controlled by the top bankers then our world will stop running on debt money and production will slow down? And am I right in saying the government has the power to control how much is injected into the economy will create a more sustainable economy but then this almost becomes state run and then becomes communist again?
when a resource runs out, its price goes up, and market economy adjusts by using the resource more efficiently, and eventually replacing it with a different resource. Banks help this by loaning money to whoever needs to make investment in this process, e.g. to consumers who buy electric cars, or for construction of sustainable power plants. Government's role is to make sure the above works as intended.
