Question:

Basement glass block window wire alarm?

I have a glass block window in my basement which has a small window opening to the outside. There is also a single wire that runs across the window (from the inside) and I think it is connected with my home alarm system. Question is, if I turn on my alarm system, then go into my basement and try to open that small window within the glass block from the inside, will i set off my alarm just by touching that wire? Or will the alarm only go off if the glass is broken or if the wire is cut/damaged from an attempted break in?

Answer:

Well like, it really depends. Plain coloured jodphurs are a must and so are decent riding boots. My school wears our plain white winter shirt under a golden and maroon sweater vest type thing(school colours). You really need to ask your coach or co-ordinator as if its an interschool event, they would probably want you to wear the school riding uniform. Just ask other experienced competitiors in your team or your coach. Sorry I can't help further
Try searching on 'chicken power' and 'whizzer' - these were the mounting kits for bicycles that used chain saw engines and McCulluch utility engines. One was a chain drive and the other was a friction drive by rubber roller on engine crank pressed against wheel.
