Question:

Bearings are a problem.?

I'm in alot of downhill skating events but no wins. What bearings could i use that are the fastest in ur opinion and name them all i use are redz bonez.

Answer:

The best bearings are ceramic for speed and durability in downhill racing. They are expensive, over $100 for a set. I use Pig Swiss bearings in my board and they work great. Just be sure to re-lube the bearings about every 8 runs.
pop the grease covers off---rinse them out---leave the covers off---a light squirt of w-d-40---or lps,,,they were out faster--but give it a try----good luck,,,,,,idea-----take a set of wheels and put them on a metal lathe----go to a bigger size bearing that has the same I-D,,
dont do what steve says! wd 40 leaves residue and makes them even worse in a couple of weeks
