So you need the pressure of the bending machine is: 450 × 3 × 3 × 1.2 ÷ 18 × (1 +4 × 3 ÷ 18) = 450KN
Formula: Tensile strength × square of plate thickness × Bending length ÷ Width of the lower mold × (1 + 4 × plate thickness ÷ width of the lower mold) = required pressure (unit KN)
