Maytag very durable You'll love it I do, I don't look back.
Miele and Bosch are top of the heap. Expensive but well worth the price. I worked for a maytag dealer and we had nothing but problems with the maytag front loads. In all fairness, peps don't call you when their maytag front load is working good.
And what kills me is the people who will say yeah my front loader smells like mold but i still recommend one. Do people really think they look better to the point where they are willing to have stinky clothes for it? My neighbors clothes always smell like mildew but I tell everyoneDon't do it and they will do it anyway. Then I sit and watch it happen. Be smart. DON'T DO IT! Oh, and the thumbs down don't hurt my feelings at all. Notice that those that give my answer thumbs down often say things like mine don't smell because I properly care for them, and leave the door open, run vinegar through, bleach etc. This is my point exactly. I don't have to leave my door open (which I would hate) or constantly run bleach or vinegar through my top loader to keep it from smelling rancid. It amazes me that people are happy to go through all this just so their washers can open from the front! Seriously, think about it.
I've had a Miele front loader for years. It works wonderfully and is extremely quiet. I can only imagine the newer models are even better. It never smells like mildew because I properly care for it, as I would with any type of washing machine. Easy things like leaving the door open for a little while after it's done being used for the day and running a vinegar cycle (just like with my coffee maker and dishwasher) every so often does the trick.
