Question:

best non damaging flat iron?

so I've been looking around the web for flat irons because my hair gets all wavy and i hate it but all the good non damaging ones seem to cost like 200$ and frankly I'm not willing to pay that much does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap non damaging flat iron that works

Answer:

Go buy some or use tin foil.
You can use parchment, or you can make your own by oiling regular paper - with butter or CriscoJust rub it in very well with a paper towel - you'll notice the paper will turn somewhat transparentBUT - do not bake ON this paper - it will burn.
Use saran wrapPull out a long sheetLay your roll of dough on the wrap length wiseDon't worry if the dough is not in a perfect logRoll up dough with wrapGrasping both ends, sping entire roll around and around like one of those spin wheel toys between a stringAs the dough tightens up you can stopTuck the ends under each end of log and place in refrigerator to setThis spinning of the dough makes a perfect log and your cookies come out perfectly shaped when sliced.
I'm pretty sure most flat irons are quite damaging, although some claim to be better for your hair, they still can damage it quite a bitI would recommend using a heat protecting spray on your hair before straightening itIf it still seems that your hair is unhealthy, try using a deep conditioner on your hair once/twice a week to keep it hydratedHope this helps!
