Question:

Biology help ASAP.?

It's basically on plants and water movement(These questions are related to my project, but I am not asking you to do my homework for me).If aluminum foil were to cover the leaves of a plant, would it affect the plant's photosynthesis? How would water movement affect a flower's color? Would it have to do with cholorphyhll being more compiled or abundant in an area of the flower's petals? How could it cause a flower to have dots like the ones we see in StPatrick's Day?What are some features of a stem?I would really appreciate any helpThanks in advance, hope you have a good day.

Answer:

I have a Great Pyr who lives outside 24/7 - in Alberta winters, 32F is pretty good! The problem with heated bedding is that if its too hot for the dog, they are forced to sleep outside, out of the shelter where its even colderYou didn't say how tall your dog house is, but if its at least 4ft (2ft from the top of the dog to the ceiling)You can install a 250 watt heat lamp bulbJust make sure that they can move away from it if its too warmI have feral cat rescue and I use these in brooder lamps to hang from the ceiling of my garageIt keeps the feral cats comfy and cozy when its -30F outsideThey are $4-6 for the bulb, a brooder lamp is about $15, but if you can wire the socket in yourself, you won't need the lamp.
Me I put mine in the garage with their dog house ion the dead of winter for the extra shelterI also drilled a small access hole and got a large heating pad (plastic covered) and put it under the blanketsFlipped it on medium with a thick layer between the pad and the dogs the heat rises, but doe snot cause any burns or irritationYou need to test the padMine was plenty warm on mediumanother might need to be on medium high or highSoccerref
Though pits aren't cold weather dogs, it is possible to but a warmer blanketPetsco has a sale on a few different typesHope this helps!
is there an attached garage that your parents would let them sleep in? How about a basement? You are right this is too cold for the dogs A heated dog bed would help if you have access to electricityIt is a very low heat, less than a heating pad and reasonably safe With out a heating source it would be hard to keep any building warm in those kind of tempatures.
Holy Shmolly - If aluminium foil were to cover the leaves of a plant - no light (iephotons) could reach the leafPhotosynthesis would stop as it does in total darknessWater movement affects a flower's color when someone puts a water soluble dye into the water! I haven't seen the dots you refer to on StPat's dayHowever, I bet the water soluble pigment enters the cell vacuoles and not the cytoplasm - hence the dots! Stems have nodes and budsCheck it out.
