Question:

Bleached hair turned copper,......?

Originally my hair is black, but recently I had it bleached and it turned copper (reasonably enough...) I'm not too happy with it, I don't have much money to go to a salon and get it done again, so I'm thinking will my hair turn into a funny color if I just buy black hair dye and dye it back to black again?Additional Question: And will it go weird if I dyed over the copper with a dark golden brown?

Answer:

Get the blackest black you can find, dye it. Follow directions, leave on as long as it says. It may seem a little dark at first but it will fade as you wash it. Don't mess with brown. It would be better if you could go to a professional. There are schools of hair design you can go to that are cheaper.
Why did no longer you dye it golden brown ? It compliments and brightens your epidermis with out taking it to the severe, then whilst the roots come out it won't look undesirable and maximum women people who've organic dark brown hair shouldn't dye it blonde because of the fact it in lots of circumstances would not suit them. additionally brown hair with golden highlights seems truly stylish. believe me, I had truly large hair and an exceedingly large colour with organic highlights. I dyed it to make it slightly lighter and that i spotted that brown did no longer artwork in any respect, so I chosen a golden blonde, whilst it grew out I replaced my hair to black, that made me look like a 'junkie' and a 'goth' in accordance to my sister and that i regarded 'as lifeless as a dodo' have been her words. Then I went from mild to dark 20 circumstances over, now I quite have left my organic hair transforming into on the roots and black on the backside, even yet it would not adventure my hair colour on the precise. Bcak to being a 'junkie' on the instant.i can't be bothered anymore. I have not have been given any decision yet to enable it improve out. i know you pronounced you do no longer circulate loopy yet don't get caught in a cycle of bleaching and changing your hair colour. ***** to the salon.
totally i think
Dyeing it black might not work... so I would say a really really dark brown, almost black. Although if you find a good enough brand of hair dye it might work. Just pretend your hair is naturally copper and look at the examples on the side of the box. It says, if your hair is naturally ____, it will looklike this: and gives a pic. So look at those.
The reason your hair is copper, is because the under lying pigment of black/dark hair is red. The bleach used was not professional enough to lift you to a blonde. You should either go back to the salon to compalin and get them to put it right for free. Or if you did it yourself then go and get a protein deep treatment use this first then put a dark brown colour on.
