BLOOD LIKE STAINS COMING OUT OF MY WALLS NEAR THE ATTIC?

HELP: BLOOD IS COMING OUT OF MY WALLS????!!!!?Ok, so on random nights this dark liquid seemingly materializes out of nothing and it drips down the walls of my hallway I am not sure what it is, but it smells like blood and it is dark red'm not crazyI have checked the attic and still have not a hint as to where its coming fromThere are no leaking pipes or dieing animals in my houseYou have any ideas? Seriously.

Don't use chemicals to mask the smell, it'll only make it worse and give you brain damageHonestly I think you'd be better off finding a different apartment or building, things like that the owner would have to handleIt sounds like the walls, flooring and plumbing should be redone.

I'm going to say that washing it would probably be bestEspecially since the other blankets in the box had been damaged by miceWhat I would do is wash it on the gentle cycle with woolite, or hand wash it in the bathtub then hang to dryIf you have an air only option on the dryer you could try that to shorten the hang time too, but you don't want to use heat because of the material.

Because of the way the quit is made you can wash it in the laundryI would wash it by its self on a delicate cycle use less than typical amount of detergentif you are concerned the thread is too old for a full wash I recommend taking the quilt to fabric store and have them look it over or have someone resew the areasWith the other blankets being ruined by mice, i would be concerned amount parasites and bacteria from the mice.You will need to wash it at some point to make sure it is cleana musty smell can be aired out but you should be concerned about the other potential problemsGood Luck

Seriously, you probably have a leak in the roofThe reddish stuff coming out is evidence of itGo into your attic if you have access to it and look for a damp spot in the insulation or a drip on the inside of the roofOh, and the wet on the wall may not correspond with where the leak is, cause the water will travel with gravityYou should also consider calling in a roofer to have a lookYes, it will cost you some money, but better to repair/replace the roof than to have to do all sorts of work on the walls, tooDon't wait too long!
