I have a california king size bed ... would it fit in a king size bed frame?
Unfortunately no - the California king dimensions: 77W x 89L compared to Eastern King dimensions: 81W x 85L x 50H. Sorry.
Possibly, Cal. Kings are just longer. The metal frames are fairly adjustable, but if it is a wood witha footboard, double check before purchase.
Actually you may have issues. King Size = 76 x 80 California King Size = 72 x 84 I'd double check and measure. You don't want to be stuck with a sweet mattress that has to sit on the floor.
Hi, Check to see if the frame is adjustable as there is a difference in size between the two. Standard King 76”x80 California King 72”x84” (aka Western King) Hope this helps
A king sized bed is 76 x 80 A CA king is 72 x 84 However, many bed frames will extend to Cal King size from King size, so that is something to check on.
