calphalon contemporary non-stick pans leave black residue after every use?

Hi all,I purchased a new set of Calphalon Contemporary Non-stick Pans (aluminum exterior) to go with our GE Propane StoveThe problem is, every time I use any of the pans/pots, I get a black residue that is in the shape of the flame that is a royal pain in the butt to clean offIt's almost like the aluminum material is burning off? I hadn't heard of any incompatibilities between the aluminum pans and propane stove, but I was wondering if I would have been better off using the full stainless steel setWould I have the same problem with those also? Any feedback would be great.

The soot is caused not by the aluminum but by an improperly working stoveYou need to have the gas pressure checked, the air shutter may not be opening, or you may be using the wrong gasHave a tech check it for you if you don't knowSoot production is a sign of carbon monoxide production, tooThe gas stove, if working properly, should leave little if any soot.
Pasta and potatoes are very good for youThe bad is usually what we put on them like cream sauces, sour cream, cheese, butter and fatty meats A marinara sauce made with tomatoes, olive oil, basil, parsley has very little fat and caloriesServe over whole wheat or spinach pasta which are better for you than white flour pasta I would suggest you try stir fry mealsYou can add whatever meats, poultry, seafood or veggies that you likeJust thinly slice your meat or chickenYou can keep shrimp wholemarinate in soy sauce, ginger, garlic, white pepper and some oil for about 45 minutesHave a wok or pan heating up, medium-high and add some oil when it's hotStir fry the meat with the marinade until almost cookedRemovePut in your veggies.mushrooms, carrots, onions, water chestnuts, snow peas, bamboo shoots? :S umyou CAN eat pasta and potatoes even if you are on a dietjust cut back on the size of mealshave a bigger breakfast, medium size lunch and a small dinner before 7 pmdont eat greasy foods or processed foods and drink milk, juice and teacut back on sugar and junk foodsalads with light dressings are a good meal ideayou can eat desert a few times a week but i dont suggest that every dayhere is a meal idea: Buy or make a vegetarian lasagna (pasta sheets, tomato sauce, 3 types of cheese or buy 5 cheese italiano shredded cheese and spinach) small chicken caesar salad or greek sautéed mushrooms with garlic and butter as an appetizer or side to a lunch for dessert you should have apple crumble or fresh fruit like grapes, apples slices and watermelon If you are legal, gallo white zinfandel would go well with that or if there will be people dining that arent legal or just dont like to drink then just cranberry juice or lemonade on ice
