I have abec5 sector9 Grease Ball bearings and I know everyone's been saying to just throw them away, but I don't have the money to buy new ones right now. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was safe to use this cleaning solution on my bearings?Contains: Solvent Naphtha (Petroleum)
You can clean with gasoline and acetone in a bottle of Gatorade or powerade what ever similar. you shake the bottle for a while when you see that's turning to other color you let dry.
Do they have dirt in them? Dirty grease? That cleaner should be fine id recommend a brake parts cleaner its similar compound but stouter. Then regrease them.
