Question:

Can a hotel charge me for smoking in a non smoking environment?

I recently stayed at a non smoking hotel. I disabled the smoke detector, I guess they sensed that. When I went to check out they have charged me a $250 fee for smoking. The hotel does have no smoking signs, but the only thing they have on me is that I disabled the detector. Do I have a right to fight this charge? Can I win it?

Answer:

He got signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 19th.
Sometimes they will do that if they get accumulated with dust, or cobwebs etc. Get a Can of Ultra Duster (canned air) and spray off any dust or get a vacuum and vacuum them real well. Then turn back on. Mine were beeping a lot after replacing the batteries but soon stopped after using a vacuum on them. Also fire alarms don't last forever. They may need replacing.
