I am still trying to find the best value in a car lift. My garage is crowed with three cars and a wood working shop. I want to put a car in the air so that I can get it out of the way and work on them easier. There are a lot of hobby lifts out there but some are not worth the effort. "Back Yard Buddy" seems to be the best but it is also expensive. Any Suggestions are highly being appreciated. Thanks
www.okorder / I've had very good luck dealing with them.
I have a 2 post Bend Pack lift. It is a 10,000lb lift that I bought new for $2200. It holds my F350 crew cab utility bed 4x4 truck no problem What you should do is contact an install company (go to a local shop and ask who services their lifts) and ask them what kind of deals they have on used lifts.
You really should have walked around your car and checked for damage before driving off their lot. And whenever having any repairs or maintenence done, you should try to hang around and keep an eye on the workers. The only thing you can do now is get a lawyer, file a civil lawsuit, and obtain a court order from the judge to subpoena the security video tapes from Walmart. Make sure you do it quickly before they destroy or erase them.
i use two 9000lbs Bend Pack lifts in my shop.they are a clear floor design meaning we can park a car under a car safely.they are getting more inexpensive as time goes on it seems like.there are many shops going out of business at this time unfortunatly but you may get a good lift be researching those types of adds.i would definitly go for a clear floor design as long as the concrete you are installing it on meets specs.
Wish I had your problem... Got 3 cars but no garage I have a friend that has a lift, but, I am not sure the brand. I will try and get the make, and model next time I talk to him. But yes I can suggest you to look out for some options available on net. try google or yahoo search
