The kid believe it was a relative because, if you look around when you are in sleep paralysis state, you DO see shadows of people; mainly projected from the dreams you are currently having. So thats the probably the main reason why the kid thinks it is a relative that is ontop of them, because that is what it feels like, and that is what we perceive. For most part, about the locking the door, I think that you are having an insecure life. Because you are focusing so much on the unlocked door, and try desperately to close it even though you know that it couldn't. I think maybe you need to reflect on your daily life a bit more, and talk to your partner about what is missing in life, and come up with a mutual solution to the problem. Hope this helps :D
That is the hinge. one on both sides. They bolt onto the hood and the fender. Depending on what kind of car you have wich would help to know, some have springs some don't. The cheap way to go is go to a junkyard to get one. Once you get one you may have to move it around to get the hood to fit right.
