Question:

Can disk brakes on a gas scooter/motorcycle be adjusted?

My automatic 150cc scooter has levers for front and rear (disk) brakes, and both are VERY tight with almost no give. Can this be adjusted? I've read through many manuals and researched, but everything talks about how to change the pads (or about how to adjust drum brakes) and things like that and not if the levers can be adjusted.

Answer:

this is a foul caliper or grasp cylinder, you may carry it lower back to Yamaha not secure. appears like a flaw interior the FZ sixteen. there is not any adjustment for the brake. establishing the bleeder valve wil loosen the wheel, yet you will unfastened your brakes.
He has to turn in his guy card AND his car guy card if he's peddling a Prius! LOL!!
He could always upgrade to a Honda Fit.
may have screw adjustment at the lever on the bars,, if not then you can take the lever off file a small amount off the part that pushes on the piston to give a small amount of free play

disk brakes are not adjustable, if your having trouble then I would suggest new pads or take it to a mechanic.
