Question:

Can falone hunt with a crossbow or muzzle loader?

nan

Answer:

Bound's hubby here: With respect to crossbows, if it is legal to hunt with a crossbow in your state a convicted felon probably could hunt with one. This would be dependent upon the laws within your state. With respect to firearms, and muzzle loaders qualify as firearms, federal law prohibits convicted felons from possessing firearms. Despite what IM hip says, once convicted of a felony no felon can ever legally possess a firearm. So, no, you would not be able to hunt with a muzzle loader. Good luck and enjoy your bow and arrow.
michigan law states that muzzle loaders and antique guns are not subject to federal or state firearms laws, thus there is no FFL paperwork to fill out before purchase.most muzzle loaders are on a shelf and do not even require trigger locks. you can pick one up and pay at the register and go home and shoot. although-there are way too many grayareas in the laws and i wouldnt trust them, especially if you come across a hardass cop/dnr officer. it is a shame these laws are so vague and lump everyone in to the same group, why cant someone who made a mistake earlier in life be able to turn out to be a good person and be able to enjoy the sport of hunting??
muzzle loader
Crossbow if it is legal in your state. Firearms are out of the question for the rest of your life once you are convicted of a felony. Should have taken some phonics while in the joint though.
Can one hunt with a crossbow or muzzle loader? If that was the question, yes! There are special seasons set up for primitive weaponry hunting. I'm assuming you mean the US. I don't know what a falone is, though.
